Maybe to you they are not. The point of this is that there are MANY people that don’t know the difference between a bit and a frag. People spend a lot a time in college to lean everything they can about this not so complex machine. You also must remember that we are still in a transitional period where there are many young adults who born with a silver USB in their mouth trying to teach older adults who’s Friday nights consisted of taking their shoes off and dancing around in the high school gym. Even still for those of us in their late 30’s and 40’s not all of us got on the bandwagon in the 80’s. For many these computers are a very new thing. For those that are just getting started, computers are not only complicated, they can be scary.

I use to do tech support for a nation wide ISP. The best tool we had was screen sharing. the were a lot of common problems we could solve in five minutes. Some time it took 30 just to walk the customer through screen sharing.
