Warning: In Case of Terrorist attack, do not discard brain.
With Barack Obama so far ahead in the polls some people are getting worried that this election cycle’s October surprise will be a terrorist attack. There was, after all, the 2004 Madrid train bombings and Osama Bin Laden did personally intervene in the last US presidential election.
So this week’s comic is a friendly reminder: keep your brain running at all times. When you switch it off bad things happen.
Today’s comic is also available as a printable PDF. If you’re interested in something more high-res, there are posters for sale at the Miscellanea store.
P.S. for anyone who’s curious, the symbol below the ionizing radiation symbol and above the biohazard in the spiffy new chemical hazard symbol developed by the US army.

Long time fan - the new site is great because I can make pointless comments like this.
PS. Nice cartoon - reminds me of Bill Maher here http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=xmCC_jasq0E

Your pointless comments are very welcome : ) As for Bill Maher, the man makes a good point. Terrorist != the worst thing ever.

Another fan (obviously). I absolutely love the comics…and I’m wondering, are you a fan of XKCD? The general tone and intelligence factor is very similar, although your comics are a bit more colorful.

Who isn’t a fan of XKCD? Randall Munroe does a great job, his problem with wikipedia is the story of my Internet life.

Well you have a point there. What’s really freaky is when you manage to link Cthulhu and H.P. Lovecraft to wet t shirt contests on Wikipedia…

Chemical hazard symbol? Poppycock! That’s the starship named Liberator from Blake’s Seven. It translates to “beware of open rebellion against the fascist regime”, a much more serious warning than any silly old chemical hazard!

Love it, absolutely love it!

We’ve been staring at that at work for a couple of days and can’t for the life of us figure out what the middle danger symbol is. Anybody want to clue us in?

Matt, it looks almost Klingon….

Why does the left-hand stick-figure get a green tick for holding its brain in its hand like a medieval ghost? The place for your brain is in your head, where you can engage it before using keyboard (or vote).
